Guys
Once again we have been invited to the Kelmarsh Festival of History by English Heritage to run their wargames marquee at this very prestigious event.
Due to last years 'washout' i would like to give first refusal on running games to those people who put the effort into putting games together last year, before offering them to others.
So, if you were to run a table last year, or wish to be considered for one this year please post here asap. As always, historical figure games only, so no sci-fi, fantasy etc and ALL tables are public participation, and we do get hundreds of visitors in the marquee and a lot of these actually join in.
Of course, to both run a table or attend this event you must be a fully paid up club member, as per previous years.
More info will be put here as it becomes available, and entry can be made from th Friday night, and we should be ok to camp within the marquee as usual.
I have also informed Warlord Games of the dates and await confirmation that they will also be attending.
If you have any questions please ask them here as this will also give the answers to all who read this post.
cheers
Carl

I'll see if I can come along and help out with something. I was going to go last year and take photos so the gamers could concentrate on their games but it turned out to be the same day as Cub camp. Just as well really considering the deluge.
What are the dates this year?

Did you just alter the thread title or was I being really, really thick and didn't notice it before?

They used to use that word back in yesteryear nowadays the kids plum for a new "D".
Anyroad count Julie and I in for our battle that never was. Or I could do a what if?
What if Alexander went south to south Africa and faced off with the zulus - wouldn't work anyway Zulus weren't around back then. I'm just interested to see what would happen. Impaled Impies?

am considering a rethink on NOT running a game and doing the Bolt Action table we didn't get to do last year.
still need others to volunteer for table running though... come on folks it's a cracking weekend, free gaming, see the event, food and beer etc

@ Stephen - shouldn't Carl be a moderator on this section also as it is he who organises the show here?
