people should know by now GW dont do anything 'free' for the sake of their customer base. would've been nice just for once if they had said 'hey guys, snap up the limited edition box and get your FREE model'.
Warlord do it with all their rulebooks, and many other companies do it as well, so why can't GW??? that age old question again i'm afraid.

Yeah kind of agree BUT I still think at £60 this is the best introductory games kit on the market and makes me happy to suggest to teenagers they buy one with a mate and add a couple of bits to it. Warlords starter sets are good value but not for kids starting out there too much rule book

with the cost of their rulebooks for all systems they could give away a model with those no problem

I picked up a set this weekend. They've added some nice quick reference sheets to make it easier to get playing and the models are really nice, expecially the Chaos chosen.
I'll bring it down on Tuesday if anyone wants to have a look.
Craig.

i would like to have a look craig and i would have to agree with james i think its a good starter set for teenagers and youngsters wishing to try gaming which it is probably aimed at knowing mum and dad will buy it for them whilst historical gaming is for the older gamer predomatly which is a diffrent market . myself i love the librarian but the rest of the dark angels i dont really need as gor the chaos terrific models especially the cultists which i might use once the new csm book is released and i can see what they are doing with the 1000sons. There is also the rulebook of course so i will probably either get it off ebay or buy the hardback copy

Brought the mini rulebook with ref cards and start sheets from £20 inc. p&p from ebay ¡
Possible a bit expensive, think that they'll get cheaper a the market gets more saturated
