I finished a project?! Good god! The finished army. Back row L-R: AT Gun, medium mortar, light mortar, flamethrower, PIAT team, MG team, Sniper team, greyhound, Cromwell, M5. Middle row L-R: Close-Combat squad, the firing squad, Commando comics squad, Vetern squad, scavanger squad, marching squad, the gravediggers. Front row L-R: Spotters and artillery observers, Officer squad, medical team Officer and his guard AT Gun Cromwell M5 Greyhound My favourite squad "The Gravediggers". 3 guys working away, corporal yelling at them, NCO sat reading his playboy Digging Paying his last respects Sat having a smoke Veteran squad Veteran squad (based on Chindits) Flamethrower team Sniper team As you can see there are a bunch of boxes of septics in the background, they're the next project. Now if only I could roll some decent dice...

Dip. First time I've ever used it so a couple of guys ended up with "blob hand syndrome" but its not that noticeable. Reckon I've got the hang of it now so the yanks should look a lot better.

Great stuff but to paraphrase Churchill this is not the end, it is not even the beginnning of the end but is perhaps the end of the beginning - we Brits are NEVER finished!

Some nice posing there Pete. Go and put them on the Warlord forum and see what they think, I bet they'll be warmly received .

Thanks for the kind words guys. Apologies for the less than stellar photography. My eyes are pretty rubbish, I need a light-up magnifying glass to paint and you can't really use that to take pictures! I look forward to losing badly with a fully painted army.
James: You're partially right. i have a Sherman that I'm going to paint in an "allied neutral" manner so i can use it with my Brits or Yanks.
Undave:Will do!

i have used the dip several times and dipped an entire ecw army by actually 'dipping' them in the tin but found you lose so much when shaking it and at nearly 20 quid a tin thats a lot of dip on the lawn, so i now brush it on and not only do you use lots less it is also more manageable and you can vary the amount a lot easier too.

I used a brush for my last tranche of models and you're right Carl it is a lot better than dipping. Will be brushing the americans to prevent unsightly blobs.
