yeah sorry Carl I played around with website and its terms say £3.00 per item and indeed that it what they add on in your cart. Its a bit of a cheek - books are heavy - but surely there must be a point where thet are making more money off the postage than the books! Still cant fault the half price...
Simon that must have been a gutting discovery!but still I supose its just the price of one book so you still got 2 free.

free p&p if you spend 250 quid or more. what a rip off it is as most pasrcels dont cost more than a fiver on couriers these days

£3 per items!!! forget it. Ive managed without them so far, and i take issue with hidden postal charges, which this clearly is.

You could always view as 1/3 off and free P&P as the maths generally works out that way
My stuff arrived today - well packed and although the extra money is annoying it is still good value

Just received a copy of Waterloo, anyone in for Napoloenics just do it great book thicker than WAB2 i think but loads of eye candy, good rules scenarios, stats history campaign ideas good stuff. don't think about it just do it good value at half price, even with P&P. Just order each book separartely they may get message about P&P then

The pandp is quite clear in their terms and conditions to be fair and is added on in your basket with every purchase. I remember this put me off buying WABII the first time around as it made it £35.00 but I am quite happy with £19.00. Can't help but feel the lack of a postage maximum charge is stupid though to say the least as its has cost them a large club order.

Why don't you just write to / phone them and say we want to put in a club order. Just stating the obvious here - so please tell me that you did that? (Everybody looks around at each other and pretend they are not Spartacus)

we had loads of people wanting stuff but getting all together to sort out cash etc was tricky, plus simon was then quoted £3.00 per book so it wouldn't have mattered in the long run so everyone ordered their own.

Point taken, it seemed the sensible option.

The official postage is £3 per item but if you phone in the order,, they process it at flat £3 the lot - and yes I have my invoice to show that.
Probably the end of WHH as everything is being sold off cheap, not just the old stuff. Nick Eyre of North Star has said as much on TMP apparently but I have not seen it for myself.

Whats TMP and why would they be bringing out a new A and A supplement if its on the way out?

TMP is the miniatures page - a wargamers forum.
The rumour that the sale signalled the end of WAB was posted a while back before Martin posted a list of the Armies on the WAB forum. Personally I'm just waiting to see what happens.
If there are more books - great. If not I have enough to keep me busy for years with all the supplements. People have said WAB is dead before one day they'll be right but maybe not this time

Osprey are holding a 50% off sale for their FOG stuff for those of you who play that system (I might get a book or two myself)
I wonder if this means they are going to stop FOG? After all that's what a number of people think the WAB sale means ;D

Just to let people know - a quick glance at the Warhammer Historical website shows that the Art Of War and Vlad the Impaler supplememts are now even cheaper - £5 each.
Even allowing for the £3 per item postage that is not bad for books normally going at £20 each!
The whys and wherefores of the sale I ignore - but if you want source books for the Chineese Warlord era or the Medieval Balkan wars - then these are good prices.
Cheers
