OK. I think it's safe to say the 1750 point idea is abandoned - let's stick with 1500.
I like the idea of escalation but in practice I don't think it's workable. Trying to match up two players at the same stage of the league to ensure their armies are at the same points value is going to be an absolute admin nightmare and as it's me likely playing TO here I don't want to put myself through that!
@ Stephen, I'm already under strict instructions from Warren to wait for both the SFS and ECW campaigns to finish, so no issue there.

I agree with James statement, 2 or 3 basecoat colours plus painted base, this should be an option. This can make a hell of a difference and also means no plastic, metal or resin showing. As others have mentioned most players will have this, and its good encouragement to get them done. Well done James, 9/10 Which is never a bad thing and since we are talking about mid September / October start realistic to achieve (me thinks!!!) D

I really think they should be all painted, I took the trouble to do mine, not very well, but they are painted. I go with the others are saying and would hate to see just undercoated or non-painted models in front of me. I think its just doesn't show much respect to be honest especially when I took the trouble. Julie

On the painting issue, there's a poll up in the 40K league section. If there's a clear overwhelming favourite then we'll go with that.
Please do cast your vote.
