Just a note I received from a very pleased mother over at the flickr site.
"Subject: Festival of History shots Date: 18th July, 2010
Dear corixa66 Took some shots of you great participation games at Kelmarsh. Your tent was the highlight of the day (as usual) for my family of enthusiatic wargamers! I am happy for you to use these shots to promote your group if they are any use to you. If you do use them I would love to know and it would be nice to be credited. As some of the shots have kids in you may be wary, but Pegasus Bridge #1 has my own son in it and you can have my permission to use it appropriately to promote your club. I will post just a couple of these shots to other wargames miniatures flickr pools and have added your clubs website address in the description. I hope this is helpful and thank you fro a lovely day! Kind Regards Margaret Jones (eMAJgen)"
Well done everybody!!

what a terrific comment we should all be very proud of what we have achieved. the guys from warlord had a great time and did good buisness which always pleases them. Also Paul Giles a guest of ours from a fellow GCN club in the west midlands was blown away by the event and what we were doing an plans to join the club and visit us as often as he can well done everyone a terrific job.

Thanks to all involved, Had a great time, sorry I didn't get to have a look round all the tables in detail, but I'm sure like everyone else I was rushed of my feet all weekend. Big thank you to the FoW team, made it run really smoothly, there was even a cheer as the last Panzer IV ran from the table in the last game on Sunday ;D At least my Germans rewrote history once and took the bridge back Nice beer Simon, thanks for sorting it out. Julie, cheesy commestibles up to your usual high standard. Carl, jokes down to there usual low ones ;D ;D ;D Hope you enjoyed the bacon butties, will need to bring a bit more next year as some missed out, sorry. Yet again I do believe this was a great advert for the club as well as fun for us. To get the photos and comment from eMAJgen really does make it worthwhile (good photographer too). Cheers Gareth and Dave, discount greatly appreciated. I hope, as suggested, they had a worthwhile weekend too. Apologies if I missed anyone!
