Can I just remind people that the VPs are only taken from the breaking through army. With this you must also include your vp additions; this includes Skirmishers gained, your extra captain and don't forget your brave unit that was the cause of the enemy general's demise in the last round get's +1 to their leadership. However if they break from combat they lose this +1 forever. If they don't break they still get to keep it for the next round. So all of you should be looking at the first column on the Victory chart in the WFB book "up to 999vps" To get a minor win is +75 vps. No half points are counted. The "stopper" has to stop the whole unit from getting across. If they rally (5 or more) then they can still get across and claim the whole amount for that unit. If they don't then the "stopper" will get ALL their points. A unit crossing the breakthrough with less than 5 models counts as points for the "stopper" . All of this has to be done within 6 rounds. This may seem rather unfair on the slower troops - my advice is to get into combat break the enemy and pursue or overrun if done in the first round.
