It has been suggested that we use the October All Day Saturday to have a Phoenix vs Bedford Gladiators event.
Currently we are looking at having the following games:
A 40K Apocalypse game, 4 Players a side, 3,000 points per player. (Each side being made up of members from one of the clubs)
A Large Warhammer Fantasy Game. Something along the lines of 3 players a side, with a total points per combined army of around 6,000 to 7,000 points.
If there are any other suggestions for other types of games please let me know.
I'd also like to know who would be interested in playing what from the Phoenix side of things.

Yep fantasy for me but Julie wants in on the 40K with her Eldar. Carl I take it that you would be taking vamps - as I will be. However, if we play as a team are we still allowed the same magic items each? In other words is your army counted as a seperate army and that we could possibly have the same magic items - for example, a vampire in my army having Walach's Bloody Hauberk and one having the same in yours. This will have to be verified.

if we are on separate tables then the same magic items are ok, just as per a tournie.
if we do a big battle will have to get an agreement with bedford ref the item lists.
perhaps they would just be called other names and do the same job for each list.

It's been far too long since I've visted all my mates at Rushden, so count me in for the all-dayer Can you let me know when it is please?
Fantasy for me of course (always was my first love) I presume we're talking Legendary Battles here
Just to make it more interesting, how about a Gladiators v Pheonix Legendry Battle -- three of us versus three of you with the honour of our respective clubs at stake (assuming of course I can get a couple more fantasy players from Bedford interested)
What do you think?

I am interested, but wouldn't want to play a multi-player game.
If we can get 3 Phoenix & 3 gladiators to have a round-robin sub-tournament then I would been keen on that.

Still trying to sort things out.
Look's like we have two Warhammer participants on the Bedford side, one or two others have said they'd perhaps play if we're doing some round robin games, but don't want to play a Legendary Battles game.
I'm at Bedford on Sunday so will try and chase things up then.

A query regarding the fantasy side
If you still want to do the LB we can probably put a team together but a couple of people have said they would prefer an inter-club tornament of some kind
So, would you prefer to do that instead?
I'm happy either way, so just let us know please.

So what do we have? Considering its at the end of the month - it has been left in the air for a bit. Stephen if you are going to Bedford on Monday could you get some definitive answers from the Gladiators please? Just want to know what army to prepare.
